Starr-Lite Pools was a huge disappointment The total crew consists of the owner and helpersThey arrived at our home everyday somewhere around 11:am and departed between 3:30-4:pmwith numerous smoke breaks throughout their hour work day We also checked Starr-Lite Pools reputation with Blue Hawaiian Pools and they came highly recommended When you write a check for 35,000$ you would expect quality and detail Our brand new pool looks like a 10-year old fiberglass pool whose deck and coping has been repaired numerous times It started with pouring of yards of concrete on a 90+ degree day with only men to work it and finish The concrete pour completely got away from them Just for an example, the deck is not square because the forms actually let loose during the pourNow spend WEEKS on end patching, grinding, and repairing this concrete deck disasterWhen the screened lanai was erected, the gaps on the deck framing pieces (bottom framing) is unbelievable We had to have screen placed in these areas to keep bugs out We have so many areas around the pool that with a good rain, everything that is on the deck drains back into the pool vsaway from the pool We are looking at having the deck and coping repaired by another contractor to the tune of anywhere from 5-8,000$ depending on what we chooseI could keep going but I think you get the messageIf all you want is something to hold water, then Starr-Lite is for you If you want your dream, a pool oasis, STAY AWAY from Starr-Lite Pools
