about our establishment because of how many resources we use to maintain and improve our facility.When operating any business with over machines in it, unfortunately, things do malfunctionWhen this happens (seldom), we do everything we can to make it rightWhether we issue a refund or offer a complimentary wash and/or dry, we want to make sure our customers leave happyUnfortunately, even after refunding * money he has sent you this complaint.Our initial interaction with **was in regards to his “stolen” walletWhen he called he said he had left his wallet on top of the change machine and went down to Food Lion at the end of the shopping centerWe are very sorry that his wallet was gone when he returned but by his own admission, he left it unattendedWe are not responsible for the mistakes of othersAgain, we are sorry that happened, however he should hold himself accountable.His additional complaint on the phone was that “none of the dryers work.” This is just simply untrueThere are two dryers out of serviceWhile he was a customer, only one was out of serviceThe dryers that are out of service are identified with “out of order” tagsWhen **called and complained that the dryers didn't work, we explained to him that an average load would take approximately 30-minutes to dry and that using one quarter at a time would not be sufficientThe first three minutes of the cycle is used to bring the dryer to the desired temperature and that temperature is maintained until the final three minutes of the cycleThe final three are used to cool the dryer downTo expect a dryer to get to temperature, dry, and cool down in six minutes is unreasonable in our opinionWhen he called he was immediately very rude and obsceneHe was swearing and yelling until we finally told him to use another Laundromat if ours wasn't to his likingOn the phone he claimed to have lost money at our Laundromat all the time, but with almost a dozen other Laundromats in the area we don't think he would have returned to our establishment so many times if that were trueWe believe he has had a bad taste in his mouth since he left his wallet up there and is pointing that frustration in the wrong direction.We assure you, if none of our dryers worked, we would not be in businessThe claim is misleading at best and an outright lie at worstSince **'s complaints, we have taken additional steps to inform our customers about our machinesWe have posted signs to let our customers know how to operate them properly and what to expect from themThere are even signs posted to help with troubleshooting simple problems that are easily resetThese signs are mostly a formality because we generally receive very positive feedback about our facilityWe see familiar faces in there all the time because the majority of our customers have a positive experience when visiting our Laundromat.Respectfully, Starr Laundry
