Oil change was never done
I went in for a routine oil change on Oct 18. That night when I got home I received an email from onstar saying my oil was low. The next day I checked my oil gauge and it showed 15%. I called and they were closed so I emailed them. Never did I receive a response. I have since taken it to pepboys and had the oil changed and it showed 100% as soon as I got my car back so I know its not that the gauge isn't working. They never did the oil change that I paid for. I have included two photos. One of the receipt that I paid Oct 18 and the mileage as of then. The other from Oct 19 showing 15% oil remaining when only 12 miles were added.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the $46.81 I paid.

I have reviewed this concern with the service manager at our dealership and we feel that the technician that performed the oil change forgot to reset the gauges. For this reason alone, we will be happy to refund *** the cost of the service. Please provide the paid receipt from Pepboys and we will refund what she paid the dealership.
thanks

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I have attached the receipt from ***. However I was prompt in filling out the survey I received as well as sending an email explaining what had happened. If the service manager believed it was a simple oversight I believe he would have responded to me via email or phone/ voicemail. The fact I received no contact to resolve this from the dealership makes me still believe it wasn't done. The customer should never have to go out of their way to resolve an issue that was very clearly the dealerships fault in order to force the company to do the right thing. This is not a way to win the customers respect or trust. I appreciate the refund and response. Thank you.

I am still waiting for the refund. It should not take more than 3 to 5 business days. Please process the refund as soon as possible.

we will be sending a check for the refund by mail on Tuesday November 27th.

I paid for a tag and registration with my car purchase and did not get what I paid for.
I'm filing a complaint because I did not get what I paid for and discussions with the dealership have not provided any acceptable resolution. On August 14, 2017, I visited the Starling Chevrolet-Cadillac auto dealership in Deland, FL, to see about purchasing a used Kia Soul they were advertising. As a new college student, I needed a reliable vehicle to get to school and work, and as a young female, I brought along my uncle to help provide me guidance and support while buying a car. Because of my family situation, my uncle was also co-signing a pre-approved credit union auto loan with me to help me get started which should not have been any business with the dealership, only with the credit union, but the dealership made it a factor resulting in the dealership's errors when submitting the sales documents to the state. At the dealership, we met with salesman Carlos R who treated us well except that he would constantly defer to my uncle and my uncle would constantly tell him that I was purchasing the vehicle. My uncle repeated he was just there to support me. After coming to an agreement on the price, Mr. R turned us over to Tunde A to finish the paperwork. Again we had the issue of Mr A deferring to my uncle and my uncle stating it was I who was purchasing the vehicle. Mr A insisted that because my uncle was co-signing the auto loan, he must also be listed on all the paperwork. We agreed that was not a problem as long as it was clear that I, the college-aged female, was purchasing the vehicle. Mr A assured us that was not an issue and he would take care of it. As we waiting to leave, we noted it seemed the men at the dealership has issues working with a female buyer but they had assured us everything was in order and I drove off happy in my new-to-me car.
However, the problem of this dealership's sexism can back haunt me on September 26, 2017, when I got my tag and registration paperwork. Even though I paid the $450 for title and registration fees, this dealership submitted the sales documents to the state of Florida showing my uncle as the primary buyer. I immediately knew this was a problem because my twin sister is having problems because she is not listed as the primary buyer on her car registration. The problem is when I do something with car later, be it changing my address, buying another car, etc., my uncle will have to remain named on all document or else I will lose the tag I paid for because of the mistake made by this dealership as he is now listed as the primary owner on the registration. I should not have to pay $450 for new title and registration fees again because I already paid it the first time and the mistake in paperwork was not mine. Starling Chevrolet-Cadillac made the mistake.
To try to immediately resolve this issue, my uncle and I went to the Florida DMV office and were told because of the credit union lien on the vehicle, we did not own the title and therefore could not initiate a change. The DMV title clerk said we would have to speak with the credit union and dealership so we immediately drove to the credit union office. After a lengthy 3-way discussion between us, the credit union loan officer and the DMV clerk on the phone, it was determined the mistake as made by the dealership and they would have to resubmit the sales order info to the state with the names reversed so that my name was listed first and my uncle second. That is the only way to put me as the primary owner of the tag and registration.
So my uncle called and spoke with Mr R who said that should not be a problem and referred us to the dealership sales office. According to my uncle, Mr A called him back and got very defensive ultimately saying those we have been talking to are lying. My uncle asked if Mr A was saying the state of Florida officials are lying. I will continue to file complaints to the dealership, Revdex.com and to the state until I receive the tag and registration I paid for.

Desired Outcome

Starling Chevrolet-Cadillac auto dealership needs to resubmit corrected sales documents to the state listing my name first as the primary purchaser/owner of the vehicle and if needed my uncle second.
