Starlight Event Center

My wedding reception was held at Starlight Event Center on 7/11/15. When we arrived at the venue, there was no air conditioning. It was 92 degrees outside. [redacted](the owner) did not call us and inform us before we got there. One of our gusets informed us of the situation. The air didn't start working until 1.5-2 hrs later. We were only provided with one fan (on the dancefloor) and they handed out glasses of water.We paid her to decorate the tables as well. All of the centerpieces were not the correct centerpieces I chose in March. She spoke with my husband that night and assured us that she would compensate and be in communication with us. We called her 5 days later and left a message. We called her 2 days later and she said she would call with more information in a week. A week later, [redacted] who works for her called 7/25/15. She told us to email her our complaints,the pictures and video we had as evidence. We did as we were instructed. [redacted] sent us an email apologizing 7/28/15 and listed the amount she was compensating us. She did not inform us when we would receive the our refund. I called [redacted]'s number last week and she answered the phone identifying herself. When I identified myself, she recanted and said [redacted] is not in office. when I questioned her about answering as [redacted] ,she said she was not [redacted] but an assistant. I was told someone would call me back. No one contacted me nor my husband.I emailed her earlier today informing that I have tried to no avail to contact her.She has not responded at all. I just want to be compensated as she said and typed that she would.Desired SettlementI would like her to compensate me and my husband as she stated in the email she sent to him.Business Response I personally took a check to Mrs [redacted] home on August 17,2015. This is the refund that we all had agreed on.. This issue have been resolved...
