Starboard Referrals

Review: I recently applied for a personal loan with Starboard Referrals. I received an email confirmation stating I had been approved for the loan and to call the lender representative to obtain the information needed to process the loan. I called the company and was told by Skylar G[redacted] I had to send in $575 to get the loan processed. I sent that amount by [redacted] on June **, 2015. Skylar informed me that this was the only amount I'd have to pay. Once received, I was called and informed by Gary to send in $750 for insurance on the loan. He explained that the insurance was actually $1500 but since it was their mistake the company would pay half. He assured me that was all I'd have to pay. I again sent $750 by [redacted] on 6-**-2015. About an hour later, I was called by Erin and told I had to pay the other half. I explained what I'd been told by Gary and her exact words were 'He doesn't know what he's doing.' I was assured that after I paid the next $750 that would be all I would have to pay up front. On June **, I sent another $750 by [redacted]. Then about an hour after I paid that amount I received a call from Gary saying I owed $950 for brokerage fees and closing costs. I was sent an email from Skylar G[redacted] that this would be the final amount I would have to pay. On 6-**-2015, I sent $950 by [redacted] again. About an hour after I sent that amount and was promised that was the last I'd have to send, I was called by Erin and told I'd have to pay another $675 as collateral. I refused to pay anything else up front. Erin told me she could send for a refund but I'd have to pay $575 up front to have my refund issued. I refused to pay anything else up front. She told me I would not receive a refund until that was paid. I called and talked to Gary on 7-*-2015 and he told me I would receive a refund in the mail in 30 days. I spent over $200 just in [redacted] fees not to mention the amount I was paying. no one that works at this business can give me a definite answer about anything.Desired Settlement: I want all the fees I have paid plus my fees spent to send [redacted] money in minutes refunded. I refuse to pay any additional fees to this company. I have paid them a total of $3222 in costs and [redacted] fees. I have all receipts to show the amounts I have paid to the company plus the emails sent from them.
