Star Title Agency, LLC

I do not know if I would be considered a "customer" as I did not deal with this Agency directly, but I was the mortgage holder on the property they did service and I was not satisfied one bit with the service they provided Please see below on what occurred from my perspective:
My daughter recently sold a home in which my wife and I held a lien on the property I provided the payoff to the Title company and the sale of the property closed with Star Title on Friday, 10/28/ However, I did not receive the check from them on this day and they stated they would send it to me via overnight delivery I did not receive it on Saturday, so I assumed I would receive it on Monday, Oct I even waited until the afternoon of Novand still no check I contacted the other Title company that was involved, *** (who I highly recommend), and the selling agent to request their help Both made calls and were told the check would be sent overnight delivery on Wed, 11/ Thursday & Friday came and went and no check Saturday came and went and still no check On Monday, Nov 7, I once again contacted *** and they received an email from Star Title stating they just sent the check over the weekend but no other explanation why it took days to send On Monday, Nov 7, I FINALLY received the Cashier's Check
If you are planning to use a Title company in the near future I would NOT recommend you work with Star Title I do recommend *** as their work, communication, and willingness to assist was top-notch
