I have left a voicemail message for the customer with an apology and my name and number for any further issues. Customer's Muncie Star Press home delivery account was stopped and transferred to a Digital Account. An additional $credit was added to the digital account along with
balance from the print account over to the digital account. The additional $was added to the digital account, due to missing papers, incorrect vacation credits, free service offered while customer was receiving the printed copy. The customer's new expiration date for the digital account is 1/2/

On 8/13/14, I received a message from our
customer service dept to refund...

$12 to a customer who no longer wanted the
paper. On 8/14/14, the
accounting department processed a check in the amount of $12 to Mr. [redacted],
When I received a copy of this complaint, I looked up the account to see what
was going on. I saw that a refund transaction was on.the account, so I notified
accounting on Sep 10th to see if a check was indeed sent. On Sept 11th I got a
response from them that the check was cut on 8/21/14. The check number was
1029998 and that it had already been cashed.

customer's account showing the beginning of the request to refund the money

email from our accounting dept stating that the check was cut and cashed

details of the matter sent to us from your office
