and have been working diligently trying to resolve this issueThe complaint is in regards to a scratch the customer said occurred while valeting her vehicle with our companyHowever we believe that damage she claims to have been made by us is inaccurate due to the events that occurred. We are disputing this claim based on the following: The white *** *** in question bumped into a *** *** ***. This bump was very minor and we have witnesses who saw this bump occurIt was the *** ***s back bumper to the *** *** front bumperThere is no damage at all on the *** ***. The scratch on the *** *** is on the high right side on the back of the vehicle and couldn’t have been made by the *** *** ***, because the *** is too low to have made damage that high up on the *** ***. We believe this damage is from a preexisting accident and Star Parking Services is not at fault for the damage in question. Star Parking Services has attempted to work with the client in question, but the damage claimed to have been made by us, we find due to the nature of what occurred and where the vehicles hit. Sincerely,Chris G***President Star Parking Services
This project was an insurance project where the owner received claim money from his insurance companyAfter we removed the roof there was substantial dry rot repairs neededThousands of dollars worth of damage. I let the owner know that the insurance company MAY cover these repairsI never
said that the Insurance company WOULD cover dry rot for sureThat is not my call, and I would never represent that the insurance company would cover repair without acknowledgment. The owner did not want us to stop the project due to possible rain once the roof was exposedThe owner approved to go ahead and do the dry rot repairWe completed the dry rot and the roofThe insurance company decided not to cover his dry rot repairsThe owner still owed us money for the repairs and would not pay usI told him we would not complete the remainder of the project till we received a payment for the dry rot repairsTo date we have not received payment for the thousands of dollars worth of dry rot repairs that we performed. If the owner pays us for what he owes us we would be happy to complete the project. Our company tried numerous times to be paid for the work we performed but we did not receive any payment.*** ***Betzler Construction
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This company admits to wrecking my new 2016 [redacted] while also admitting to not paying a penny toward the damages they caused. I take my vehicle to be washed at [redacted] of Cincinnati every Saturday, where I also have all maintenance work done. I have witnesses from the dealership the Saturday I dropped my car off with the valet stating there were no damages on my vehicle, besides a few scuffs on a wheel. When I left my car in the care of star valet parking they damaged it. Whether it be with another car or while they maneuver the vehicles to fit in the very limited space. The principle is they DAMAGED my $80,000 vehicle and HAVE NOT paid a penny toward the repairs. I also have witnesses from the night my car was in the accident, specifically a manager who works the front door at a bar located right next to where these cars are valet. He said they did the damages that were located on the back of my vehicle. Lastly, if you knew anything about a [redacted], you would know when placed in park the car lowers to the level of a sedan. The only time the vehicle raises from this height is when it reaches 20mph. So it is VERY capable of damages caused by a sedan height vehicle. Furthermore, I had the damages on my car fixed almost immediately after the damage was done and estimates were made, I paid $1000 deductible immediately to have the repairs completed. I would never drive a $80,000 car around with $2000 worth of damages on it. It's ignorant to say I drove around with previous damage on my car, everyone knows I didn't drive around with previous damage on my vehicle, and I have witnessss to prove that.
Regards,
[redacted]
