Star Maine Coon

I contacted this company to adopt a new Maine Cn kitten after having to put mine to sleep last year. They immediately contacted me back via email AND text, which I thought was odd. They provided me with information stating that this litter and the kitten I wanted was 50% off "for this litter only". I sent them a list of questions and request for not only previous customers but a vet reference to establish if the company was legitimate or not. They never replied to my request....red flag. Another red flag was the emails they sent to me that did not contain the company name or website. Another red flag. When I asked them for the name of the person I was chatting with, they did not provide this information either. Red flag again. There is no application to fill out on their website, unlike all the other Maine Cn cattery websites that I visited....red flag. Being victim of an online scam before I was feeling uneasy about the information I was getting. I finally looked them up on the Revdex.com site and saw the other complaints. I would've not put any stars to this review but the system would not allow me to do so, so I went with the one star to be able to post my review. Don't get scammed. If the site does not have an application, if the "owners" text you right away and do not include their names, the name of the business and the website as well as start asking for deposits up front, it's a scam. Don't be fooled to part with your hard earned money for a promise of a new loving kitten only to find out you've been dooped and someone now has your money. Don't fall for their games!!!

I felt uneasy afterwards and looked them up on Facebook, only to find that they’ve done this before to a couple people... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM OR EVEN SENT THEM MONEY OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

I have found the website, starmainecoon.com, through Google. I trusted the website at first because it was encrypted and didn't notice anything unusual. I reached out to them regarding the purchase of a Maine cn kitten. They got back to me with a lengthy email from "info.***@gmail.com". So far so good. We agreed on a price and set a delivery date. During the email conversations, I was contacted via text from to confirm on the details and any questions I had. The texts were somewhat formal and the person kept say "God Bless You". I figured what nice people they are and how they mention they go to church. The issue came when they sent me photos of the kitten and I then asked for videos but they said they will give the videos the following day since they don't have one currently. I assumed they going to tidy up the kitten for a video since they will give me it the following day. They said in order to start the delivery process, I need to pay them. They sent me a bill of sale and I paid them through Zelle and it was odd because there was a pending verification notice on Zelle's end. Never saw this happen before and I use Zelle a lot. Eventually the money was delivered that same day. The following day I was waiting on the videos but no reply from email or text. So I decide to call the number and a guy with a foreign accent, goes by the name ***, said he will provide the videos in a few moments. I received the videos in an email and it looked nothing like the kitten. It was a cat and not a Maine cn kitten. That's where I figured, something is wrong. I searched reviews on the website, which I should of done first (lesson learned), that this is a scam. Hope this people rot in ***. This is not fair to people out there who works hard for their money and not only that, it destroys hope that the kitten would be theirs. I didn't know how certain people can be this disgusting and low.
