We are sorry to hear that the customer experienced problems while having his computer serviced in our storeWe have reached out to the store regarding this matter and was advised that the virus removal portion was completed by 4:on the same day the unit was dropped offWhen the customer returned to the store the following the day, our tech was completing required Window's updatesWe were advised by the store that the customer did not allow the tech to complete the updates and retrieved his computer on his own accord and left the storeIn regards to his request for a refund, since the work was not allowed to be completed in the time frame allowed for our next day service guarantee (5pm the following day), we are unable to grant his request to receive a refund

We apologize to the customer for the inconvenience we may have causedWe have reached out to the customer to advise we have discovered that the price of the item listed on Staples.com was a typographical errorUnfortunately, we would not be able to provide the product at that price as Staples does not honor typographical errors

We reached out to the customer and explained that transactions are only charged the final amountWe assured them that we would address this issue internally to ensure that our representatives are communicating accurate informationWe offered to look into switching the payment method to the gift card, but the customer was satisfied with the conversation and did not want to possibly delay the delivery

Staples position on this matter remains the same. We would not be able to provide a replacement item as the one purchased was a clearance unit.
