Having never dealt with a complaint to the Revdex.com before I am not sure how many times the bantering goes on back and forth. Although I do care about my customers and what they think and feel I just do not have the time to keep going back and forth with this. So, this will be my last statement. I have been in business for myself since having started different businesses from scratch and building a great clientele list for both. This customer did purchase a well pump from us in May of this past year He came in saying he needed a shallow well pump, we showed him the two that we normally carry and gave the pricing He choose the pump that he left with after asking if the pump would work I told him that if
he was replacing a shallow well pump that it should work He called back about weeks later saying that something was wrong with the pump and wanted to return it After I asked several questions he said that it would not shut off and that I sold him the wrong one There was nothing wrong with the pump! I told him that I could not take it back because their was nothing wrong with it and it was used He hung up and I did not hear anything until about a month later when he showed up at my store with his children wanting to return it again I told him the same thing that I could not take it back because he had used it There was nothing wrong with it He proceeded to tell me again how I had sold him the wrong pump He told me that he had to hire a professional plumber to come in and figure out what was wrong and that this plumber said I had sold him the wrong pump Then later in our conversation he let slip out that the plumber had a hard time figuring out what was wrong and had to call the pump manufacturer to ask what was wrong a why the pump would not shu off The manufacturer was the one that told them they had the wrong pump So I ask him if the professional plumber could not figure it out what was wrong while on the premises with all the the information in front of him then how could he possibly expect me to know what he needed? This angered him and he got very belligerent from this point on He left cussing and causing a scene in our store and also went down the road to a convenience store and caused a scene there as well What the customer also doesn’t know is that I know the plumber he hired and that he had come in our store during this whole episode and told us that he was having a hard time figuring out why this pump would not work
