We had Stans put in an AC at one of our rent houses and seemed to be ok, so we had them install a new one at our current home and has been a disaster. Very bad service. They quoted a price, then during the process they decided that some insulation in the attic would be better if removed and said it would make a BIG difference in our bills but would cost us to remove us, which wasn't in the original quote. We took their word for it and after paying almost $20,000 for a new unit our bill has not decreased at all and not our attic is hotter. We were hesitate to remove the extra insulation because the more the better was our thoughts and we feel now our thoughts were correct but of course will cost a lot to have it reinstalled... They have been very long on getting back with us. WE also had set up before the bad customer service to have them do bi-annual servicing for our rentals, and they took the money from out account and then took several months before they scheduled the servicing, and with 2 of the homes, after servicing within 2 weeks units had issues, which cost more expense and we suspect the servicing was only dusting off the unit and not actually servicing.. so anyway we would NOT recommend them to anyone as it keeps just getting worse and we are VERY dissatisfied is why I am writing this review.

Owner sent threatening, bullying email for payment before job was complete. Job is still not complete. No one should be threatened and name called for payment of an incomplete job. I can furnish email. Very unprofessional and upsetting.
I left a voicemail for Mrs. to call me to discuss the issue.
I also wanted to confirm an appointment for the afternoon of the 16th.
Our technician visited the home 8/16 and completed the requested tasks.

I hope the owner does not send bullying, threatening demands for payment when the job is not complete to ANY customers. He should apologize. No customer deserves that treatment.
Strand/Stan's installed my central HVAC system. For some 25 years, I have paid them for annual "tune-up" inspections. My summer inspection was done on April 20, 2018. The "technician" reported that my system was cooling nicely, but that a capacitor was weak. I paid him $137 to install a new capacitor. My system did not cool! The responding "technician" reported, on May 1, that the problem was that the first "technician" forgot to turn my power back on! Still no cooling! This morning's (May 14th) "technician" replaced a circuit board. Still no cooling.
When I called, for the fourth time, the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY rude, and would not allow me to explain what the problem appeared to be.
These folks are, unfortunately, extremely inept!
We appreciate Mr. business in the past and regret that our technician made a mistake by not reinstalling the service disconnect after making the repair to the system. We are refunding Mr. as requested
