The company was contacted for a potential pool project They came to the property to review with us their company, experience and past projects They were professional at that time We spoke a couple of times after that on some feedback and next steps I had to follow up with them several times to see what they were going to do I spoke with the owner one late afternoon and was in the middle of something and said I will call you back tomorrow morning Well two weeks and nothing I called the store and got someone and said yes he was in the store They asked if I could leave a message and said this wont take a minute to tell him something She asked my name and she told him my name and she came back on and said he will call you back later Well couple of days later and guess what....yes still nothing This is not the kind of company that I would want to deal with when they tell you something is going to happen and nothing happens I know they have been in business a long time but just wanted to share my experience for any others looking at different contractors I wish them well but not somebody I will be using on this project

I want to begin with this is a GREAT companyI met with numerous pool contractors, went with my gut instinct, and I'm sure glad I did When it comes to price, I was completely happy as wellWhat I noticed, when comparing apples to apples the price was either in line with other quotes or cheaper When it comes to the employees, I was impressed with seeing the same guys on every trade of workThe same guys that started it finished it from beginning to endI did not have to see a bunch of different guys and trust me that's a luxuryI was very impressed with the professionalism and eagerness to make our family happy I have built multiple homes and in doing so you always hear someone complaining about somethingI never heard one complaint from the employees and trust me I asked a thousand questionsAs far as the owner, I really appreciate the way he conducts businessTo include, I asked him on multiple occasions before construction began to give a fair estimate on when the project would be completed and he responded by the end of July When they started the pool it seemed like it rained everydayHowever, the guys were at my house on July 30th, doing the finishing touches and it was pouring down rainI asked Sherman my goodness what are yall doing and he said "I told you the pool would be finished by the end of July and I'm going to stick to my word" Without being too lengthy, I would refer this company to anyone looking to build a pool Jeremy [redacted]

Standing Stone was excellent! We hired them to fill in our old pool. Although they have more experience digging pools than filling them in, the owner came to give us an estimate and was able to reverse-engineer the area in a way that a demolition company probably would have never envisioned. They did work efficiently: filled in the old pool, smoothed out the yard, planted grass, and put down straw. They gave us our yard back! I love it! It's like we have a whole new back yard.

My pool was installed in 3/2014, my husband and I have never been so happy with a contractor ever, we were so worried about putting a pool in due to the nightmares we had heard with other friends. Standing pools came and gave me an excellent estimate and every word he promised us with our pool was completely satisfied. He gave us a date of deadline for the pool to be complete and it was done a week earlier due to good weather. The owner of Standing pools is a honest upstanding gentleman and I would recommend him for any job in the future, Standing pools crew are very polite and work hard, the nightmares we heard about putting a pool in, we never came across one, the crew was neat, never the mess I heard about, my pool is beautiful and I have never been so happy, I highly recommend Standing stone pools.
