Review: For the past several years I have paid my mortgage bi-monthly by issuing 2 payments to the mortgage company that together covered the full monthly payment. This provides me with an effective way to budget my bills. A few months ago this mortgage was sold off to Standard Mortgage Corporation and since then I have been constantly harassed about my method of payments. Most recently the company has refused to accept any payment that doesn't cover the full monthly payment amount, and they have started refunding the money to my bank account threatening to make me default on my loan unless I conform to their dictated payment methods.Desired Settlement: All I would like from this complaint is to have the Standard Mortgage Company accept my payments and to stop calling and emailing me. I would expect the resolution of this complaint to be that Standard Mortgage Corporation begin to behave as every other mortgage company and simply apply the money they are given to the loan that they have in my name.
