Review: Date of routine eye exam 12/10/12. Received billing within 3 weeks stating I owed full amount and insurance covered basically $12.

I had to spend countless hours communicating with their terrible billing dept over a 4 month time span and even after conformation from my insurance carrier that they were paid (once [redacted] coded it properly), I still to this day get phone calls from their office harrrassing me to pay them for the routine eye exam which should be covered by my insurance.

I would stay away from this practice; they are terrible!Desired Settlement: Stop harrassing me, stop (mailing)sending me threatening notices that the claim is going into collections. Stop calling me.

They coded it wrong, and they should have fixed it back in December 2012.

This is one of the situations that may have me retiring before my time.

Our office is currently going from a paper office to a paperless office, as a result much of our patient communication is computer driven, as opposed to the good old ''let me get on the phone''.

But this situation is now out of hand.

[redacted] was seen as a routine Eye Health exam on 12/2013.

His insurance rejected our initial request for payment. Not sure why, but it was eventually paid on4/6/2013. Mr [redacted] unfortunately received an EOB that it was rejected a month before our receiving a payment. Our computers simply billed him automatically and inappropriately as we were appealing the rejection. Something we now need to do all to frequently. We, including myslef apologized for the automatic letter. I guess it was not enough There is no longer a bill outstanding
