The diamond was purchased years ago, it took over one year of getting the ring cleaned at OTHER Jewelers before one told us upon inspection that the diamond was certified- we then looked up the certification and it was IGINOT the GIA that your Store letter claimedIt was also lower quality than your store claimedWhen I called initially I was pushed aside and it took me coming in the store with the cert details before Robert then offered to BUY BACK my diamond but NOT refund the taxes I paid.We want our taxes back, and it is illegal to return an item without reconciling the taxes paidWe will accept either the full refund OR you may replace the diamond with GIA like your Store GIA Gradaute claimed the stone would pass as Iby GIA, it must be the same size or larger, and it must be as clean to the naked eye as the current stoneSince Stafford lied to us about the real certification we are afraid that your replacement diamond would end up looking much worse even though the certificate might claim it is an IBecause of this it is much easier for everyone involved to just refund us, the LEGAL way, unless you can produce the GIA stone that looks as clean to the naked eye or better than current stone.

Stafford returned the engagement ring today and gave our sales tax back as well. As long as the check doesn't bounce we are satisfied with their response.
