Stadium Village

my daughter a ksu student signed a 12months lease with stadium village around the begining of the year I paid everything first month rent and fees but because of the civid 19 she never move in and a week ago ksu cancel all the in person classes for her it mean all her classes are online I spoke to the management office to how we can cancel the lease but they said even she don't move in the lease is under her name and she's responsible to pay the rent every month and we can afford to pay a apartment without living there.All I want is to cancel the lease even if I have to pay a fine but they won't do that
