Review: I am being double twice for going back to St Vincents Medical Center walk in for a follow up visit after 3days of my original visit due to the same doctor not giving me the correct meds I needed for my throat infection.I went into the Main Street, Bpt, Ct office with a throat infection, I requested that the Doctor on call give me anti-bontics to help me with the Throat infection, The Doctor on call reported he didn't liek to write meds for an infection and gave me cough medicine instead. Three days later I got worse and had to return to the same office and see the same doctor. He then gave me meds to fight my infection. St Vincents is billing me for both visits............My Patient Number = XXXXXXX and account number = XXXXXXXXX-X........I called them a number of times trying to clear this issue

We regret Mr. [redacted] dissatisfaction. The clinical decision to provide antibiotics is based on the patient's presentation and symptoms. It was not apparent upon the patient's first visit that antibiotics were the apporproiate course of treatment. We regret the patient continued to decline and required an addiitonal visit to the urgent care center. We agree to eliminate the $237.00 balance for this return visit.
