responsible for the tuition for the entire school year since teachers must be paid and supplies have already been purchased for the entire year. The [redacted] family signed a contract stating such and it is attached to this email. We responded to the [redacted] family inquiry in a timely manner through email. These emails are attached as documentation of our claims. Since the [redacted] family signed the family contract agreeing to be responsible for the tuition for the entire school year and the decision to withdraw their child from our school was entirely theirs, we do not owe them a refund. We are/were willing to continue educating their child through the end of the school year. To reiterate, we have sent these same communications and documentation through emails to the [redacted] family. We have other correspondence not included because it discusses details about the student involved and we do not want to violate her privacy. Sincerely, St. Rose of Lima Catholic School Administration Stefanie [redacted] Assistant Principal

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. St Rose said that they could no longer accommodate our child at the school and they would no longer be able to educate her so we were forced to withdraw the student so that she could receive a proper education elsewhere. We have spoken to a lawyer and the contract we signed is loosely written and does not state that tuition will not be refunded when school fails to do their job and forces the withdrawal of a student. At best, St Rose made decisions without regard to the students best interest in order to take money for services that were not rendered, in the worst case scenario they are using discriminatory practices and taking money for services not rendered.
