St Pierre Oil Co

Review: Two heating service people from St. Pierre Oil Co. came to my home in February 2012 to perform a routine annual furnace cleaning. They reported no issues with my furnace when they departed but within 10 minutes after they left my home, I had a flooded basement. I had been a customer of this company for the 8 years that I lived in CT and never had any problems with them. In all previous service calls to my home they always sent only 1 person to address any issue. In this specific instance they sent 2 people, who were both unknown to me. I knew their other service technicians from my previous experience with the company. Curiously, the 2 service people that came to my home and left my basement flooded, were no longer working for this company with a few months after the incident. I incurred significant loss of property from the flooded basement and the cost of buying and having to professionally install a new hot water heater that burst as a result of the actions of the 2 service people. The company never would admit that it was the actions of their 2 (fired) technicians that created the flood in my basement and the subsequent financial losses that I incurred. Instead they had the audacity to bill me for the labor that they expended for the multiple visits they needed to fix the problem that they created.

Remove my account from collection and leave me with a "good" mark on the collection report from this incident. I have previously offered to let bygones be bygones with their owner, [redacted], and continue our relationship on friendly grounds.
