2015, *** *** was verbally notified of the ***’s cancellation policy (attached) when she registered for her trip to Europe She was sent a hard copy of the policy in the mail that same day The policy clearly states that cancellations after days of booking will result in a forteiture of the entire deposit *** *** didn’t cancel her reservation until November 9th, days after her initial reservation We understand that changing financial situations sometimes require people to cancel their reservations, which is why we encourage all of our participants to purchase travel insurance to mitigate against potential losses *** *** was sent a copy of our recommended travel insurance policy in the confirmation packet we sent her on September 30th.If you have any further questions about this case, please don’t hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####Sincerely, Kate D*** Director of Client Services Academic Travel Abroad
