Review: My husband and I went in for prescriptions for glasses (me) and contacts (him) on 6/1. I was told on the phone that it would be $65 for contacts and $95 glasses. The point of the appointment was for the prescriptions, which my husband didn't receive for his contacts. We did not receive our refraction results, which I was told was for glaucoma testing. I was under the impression that what we were paying for on 6/1 (from what was said by them) that I was paying for the services rendered and the actual contacts for him.I did receive a script for glasses. I called the next day 6/2 to cancel the order for contacts since we had found them cheaper somewhere else and was told no order for the contacts had been placed and that was the doctor's charge for contacts. I would not have signed a receipt had I known that we were not ordering contacts and not receiving them at a later date. The very point of the appointment was for a script for contacts...Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my husband's portion of the bill ($226.00) and the refraction results I did not receive ($25.00). He did not receive his script for contacts, which was the very purpose of him having an appointment.
