St. Bernard Lodge

This review is based on the St. Bernard Lodge's business' ethics. Two days before we were supposed to be driving to the lodge, a wildfire erupted across northern California, blocking our path to the hotel. When calling the hotel to cancel and explain the situation, they refused to refund our money because, 'there was no immediate threat to there area.' This, even though by driving there would be risking the lives of a family of four. Further, while discussing this with the hotel, they went ahead and pushed the charges for our stay through WHILE ON THE PHONE. Again, this was two days before we even stayed there.
