The owner ***, of S & S had told me a few times that he could sell the car that he "repaired" for $2,- $3,000. I simply asked him to buy it from me for $1,so he could re-sell it. He refused. Why would he refuse to buy it if he felt he could re-sell it for a nice profit? Especially after he/his company did the work on the vehicle? The blue book value on this vehicle was about $when my daughter's boyfriend brought it there. My family and I were out of town when he took it there. I was never consulted about this. I believe an automobile repair shop should be a little more consultative on this as they are the experts. To put a $1,engine into a car worth so little and old (2002) is a money grabbing technique. I also believe we were taken advantage of here and if you read the complaints about this company - I am not the only one who believes thisJoan had told me that the tow "invoice" was $in June when they tried to repair this vehicle. She never showed me the invoice. Now there is a handwritten invoice for $100.00? - UNTRUSTWORTHY. I am sure Joan will try to put her spin on this and make like they are innocent. The fact is that when I took the car there this last time the mechanic opened the hood and the oil cap was on. So she make up information - just another example of her being untrustworthy.I have since traded the vehicle in and it is no longer in my possession. I hope that they will be more careful with this type of stuff in the future and not treat people like this. You can bet that I won't recommend them to anybody. Thanks - *** ***
