I am rejecting this response because:
That pipe usage method is what CAUSED the damage, something I did not want and was not told would happen, IF he had told me there was a proper and better way of doing itThis car is not meant for track, it is my daily driverI am a customer, not a friend or business partnerI just wanted this fixed PROPERLY, which I thought he would doAll he had to do, was tell me, "I can roll your fenders for $200" and problem solvedHe has the tool and I would have paid

Thank you for the email and will be happy to sort this situation .

Alittle history on this car that is reported damaged about. This car has been in a collision. How I know this my wife was the owner of this car for years and and was in a side reported collision...

when she owned the car.

With that said there was a previous damage show on the pictures from the body shop that was not repaired since the plastic trim covers it. It also shows Black Double sided Tape I didnt install but the previous body shop did. I have dealt with this customer for years with out a problem. I am not sure all of a sudden the change of heart but we would like to address a few things.

I would like  a report from the body shop that did the repaid on the crashed left drivers side to state other wise the damage was fixed to prove the damage was not  already there made.

The customer did come to talk to me a few days ago last week  after he went to an alignment shop about his altered suspension  and asked me to look at his car also afterwords . Out side public parking I went to look at his car and both sides had the plastic trims removed by the owner but when the car left my facility a few months back the car had them both installed same the way the car came in.

The receipts show the customer 'Paid"  for myself to install suspension components which we did the paid work.Any complains outside the work order and even months passing by we cant be help accountable.

I did advise what he needed to repair his rear flares as them showed broken clips as said a used set with perfect clips or brand new side trimming from the dealer ship will work.

This car has 'Wider' tires and wider wheels and are sticking out father out than a factory production Subaru impreza STI 2005 he owns and will experience from time to time rubbing since the off set of the wheels is much lower and that item was sold by another facility  which I stated to the customer was a bad buy and will cause rubbing.

Please note this car is HIGHLY MODIFY. we performed suspension work. From the engine highly modifications to after market exhaust with no catalytic converters is HIGHLY illegal.  i do hope the Revdex.com can inspect the full car for this claim.

thank you

Prior to the complain being filed the customer drove the car to the shop I think it was 8/5 or 8/6 with in or around those days
Since June till now the car is still rubbing (I seen the rubbing markers on the tires when it was brought in8/6)and since June left rubbing the facility .

I opted a few options to install Over Sized Fender flares to terminate the rubbing that has been hitting against the Body.
We looked online for many options and I Even offered a Discount to make over size fender flares like we do on our race cars when even sell these fender flares on our online store .
The customer said "I will think about it" . Same day 8/6 I went outside to put double sided tape on the inner side on the factory fender flare and wouldn't stick on AT ALL!
BUT, Back in June when we installed the suspension the car left with both fender flares intact to the body which leads to believe the over size tires and over size wheels driving on public roads with in these few months have caused more damage ( seen on the photos provided).
I could not get the fender flares to stick at all and there was a few (4 or 3 clips out of 6) broken so I tried double sided tape but was near impossible to stick on. The factory trim was now hitting the body line that one was there to clip onto(see pictures provided fender wheel line)
The over sized tires and wheels place the #1 reason the custom wanted to perform clearance thus, driving guiding a pipe over the fender lining area on the rear.
To go back in detail of the day of the suspension install after we performed the work the customer came to pick up the car and take it home .
He drove off and within 30 minutes came back outside the shop work area  and said " the rear is rubbing"
I was outside and stated " you have over sized wheels and tires, remember I have you a price quote for the wheels you have on now with the correct offset and tire size."
Customer stated "yeah". I then said "we some times use a small pipe to clear the fender filing at the race track" customer asked "can you do it" I said " well you really need the proper size or add more negative camber for clearance but that will waste the inside of the tires and you will be back to where your old wheels where wearing on the inside"
When we both performed the "pipe clearance usage" since the customer was determined to terminate the rubbing issue there was a pipe in place between the body and the tire the customer them drove the car forward slowly back and forth to cause the body to expand outwords.
When this was performed the Factory fender flares where ON before AND after this procedure was made by his driving back and forth on the pipe that I held in place so that it did not fall out between the body and tire.

If asked more in detail about repairs or fender options to cure this (altho this would have never happen if the proper wheel and tire was purchased prior to the damage) we would have been glad to work with the Customer S we have for years. We are no longer interested in conducting any buisness. I hope Revdex.com can see the facts.

Review: Shop owner damaged both my rear fenders with a "tool" which turned out to be a pipe. I asked if he could make some clearance for the tire so it won't rub. He said "yeah, I got this... Uh tool" comes out with some metal pipe. Proceeds and sticks the pipe in between the top of the tire and quarter panel and tells me to go in reverse. I hear a cracking sound from both sides. When it was done, the fender pieces look like there about to pop off, but hold in place. Took one off only to try and tape it back. I find damage caused by the noise I heard. Contact shop owner and he told me that's an easy fix. Go to his shop and he proceeds to try and fix it, but can't. He was using 3M double sided tape, but it would not stick. Now, the problem here is that he had the proper tool to roll my fenders, but did not mention it to me when asked. At the time I did not know what fender rolling was/or how it was done. The body of my car was prestine all round. Even when I turned it in to him for service.Desired Settlement: Demand he pays for the repair. I will pick the body shop of my choosing or one that is assigned to me. Do not want SS Auto Power to perform repairs.
