Review: We contracted SRPC on the recommendation of another service we used. We interviewed Jeff and he seemed to be savvy in dealing with insurance claims and made promises about how our home would turn out after his reconstruction from a major flood we had. This was in January 2015. Job was promised to be completed in a few months. We had another place to live so we gave him the freedom to work in an empty house. While his employees were working on the job they left our house in a mess. Never cleaned up after themselves. My new furniture was never covered while it was in a room they used for sawing, painting etc. During construction one of the employees also knocked over a family antique clock. It stayed in my house broken apart for 5 months. It was finally dealt with when Jeff realized he wasn't getting paid until it was refinished and working and back in my house.

The wonderful finished product he promised us never came to be. We had to hire our own painter to redo what he had done. Good news is he realized his men weren't capable of doing our kitchen and we contracted that out ourselves. My new flooring had paint all over it and was scratched. It was never covered during the construction. By June we just wanted his company out of the house. There are still many unfinished areas which we have to have completed. We foolishly paid him in full. Every time I walked into the house unexpectedly it was in shambles. I have pictures to show how awful the work was. Anyone who saw them was also horrified. My husband had many conversations with Jeff/project manager about what was going on. Some things were fixed and some weren't. Some examples are....Sheetrock put up right over heat vents, molding crooked and cut jagged, white molding painting all over walls, paint all over my brick fireplace, new bathroom used as a slopsink and never cleaned, garbage left in front of my house for months.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to make another consumer aware of the unprofessionalism we experienced.No further contact by the business
