This collection company is legit the worst! They spent months calling me, two- to three times a day and never left messagesWhen they finally couldn't reach me, they sent me a letter regarding the collection, to which I then disputed itThey were able to ascertain appropriate documentation to substantiate the debtI then sent payment to them and asked them to remove the negative entry from my credit within daysThey mailed me a letter back saying they do not report to the credit bureaus and that due to that stipulation in my letter, they could not take the payment, WTH is that?!?! After months and months of harassing me for the money, now I am trying to pay and you won't take itThis is utterly ridiculous
To whom it may concern: In response to this complaint, I wanted to respond to what was stated here. SRA Associates does not report to any credit bureau. We do not currently even have the capability of doing so. Therefore, we are not reporting...

I had an opportunity to review the complaint and would like to take a second to say that my research actually agrees with most of what he is saying. Our representative should have acknowledged his request to remove the phone number from the system right from the start. We have addressed this matter with the individual that he spoke with and have taken the necessary action to ensure that this will not happen again.
Based upon my findings, I do want to sincerely apologize to Mr. [redacted] for the behavior of our representative. This is not the way SRA trains our staff to conduct business. I do apologize for an inconvenience that this may have caused. I also appreciate that he has brought this to our attention as it will help us with quality assurance going forward.
If there are any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Review: SRA Associates continues to contact my home phone regarding a collection for [redacted] is of no relation to me or my family and I have no knowledge of this debt. My wife and I have repeatedly tried to respond and tell them that we have nothing to do with the person that they are trying to contact, but phone calls continue to come, sometimes waking my children during nap time. I understand a mistake and wanting to collect money owed, but please quit harassing me and my family who have nothing to do with the debt you are trying to collect. It has become harassment.Desired Settlement: Would like to know that they have received this request and that they will no longer contact me regarding this debt that they are trying to collect.

Review: At 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, July 17, 2014, I received an incoming telephone call. I said, "Hi, this is [redacted]." The caller said, "This is [redacted], calling on a recorded line." I asked, "Who are you and why are you calling on a recorded line?" The caller said "This phone conversation is being recorded." I said, "Turn off the tape recorder and I'll speak to you." The caller said, "There is no way that is going to happen." The caller then hung up.
My phone had captured the caller's telephone number. I called back. The person answering said "SRA Associates. How may I direct your call?" I said "[redacted], please." The person said, "What is your account number?" I said, "I don't have one. I want to speak to [redacted] so I can find out why he called me and why he hung up on me." The person said, "What's your social?" I said, "I'm not going to release my Social Security Number over the telephone to total stranger. I'm simply tring to find out what this is all about." The person said, "Please hold," and then immediately hung up.
At 1 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, July 18, 2014, I received a call from the same number as [redacted] had called from. I said, "Hello?" The person immediately hung up.
I just now (at 3:29 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, July 18, 2014) went onto the internet and googled SRA Assiciates. I learned that SRA Associates is a collection agency.
I have an excellent credit rating. I have no debts. I owe no one anything.Desired Settlement: I respectfully request:
1. a written apology from SRA Associates, [redacted] New Jersey 08083;
2. a written statement from SRA Associates that SRA Associates never will contact me again; and
3. that this complaint be reported on the records of Revdex.com Serving New Jersey.
Thank-you very much!
