SQUARE DEAL RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR

Review: This is a formal complaint regarding services performed by Square Deal Renovations for unsatisfactory work. My home was renovated in 2008 due to Hurricane Katrina damages. Since that time several problems have occurred such as: Bedroom window was installed totally out of line, front and back doors were purchased without a frame causing the doors to be drafty and exposed to light, bathroom has a half floor, bedroom door does not close because it does not line up with door frame, facia board not replaced just left hanging off the house unsupported, shingles slipping off the roof because they were not nailed correctly, cheap siding installed a rock hit the house and it cracked the siding, siding slipping off the house.

Filing this complaint for unsatisfactory work. Problems have manifested problems over the last two years. Bedroom window installed very crooked,

bedroom door was fixed but problem still exist the door not shut flush with the door frame, siding is cheap it's plastic not aluminum like I

ordered, purchased doors and not framed doors creating drafts and light coming thru the door, bathroom does not have a complete floor from the

closed wall you can see under the house, roof shingles sliding off the roof because they were not nailed correctly, facia boards not replaced

or secured just left unsecured.Desired Settlement: I want all the repairs done but not by this company and paid at the contractors expense.

I want the repairs done at the expense of the contractor. I prefer that his company does not do the repairs.
