This business purchased our duplexes and decided to kick out everyone without a current lease and jack the rent up from 700 to 925 a month which is all fine and good however half the stuff in the apartments dont work and are falling apart. They willingly let out neighbors out of their lease because they went to high school with them so personally knew them because they wanted to find something cheaper. They let them move out early and did not give them any repercussions for moving out early.
When I asked for the same treatment I was told no because I had left a bad review on their page. Because I shared my thoughts on how the company was handling the purchase of the duplexes. They have since taken reviews off of their Facebook page so you can no longer see the review or anyone else at that matter. They are playing favorites and have even gotten into a few other tenants faces over some stuff I am unsure about. They have been kicking out disabled people and not even giving them the chance to renew their lease. They didn't give reasons for the sudden intent to not renews. They have not done any repairs requested since they took over the duplexes. All I wanted was out of my lease and to get my security deposit back since when I moved into the apartment there was a ton of damage listed on my form I filled out at move in. I would like for something to be done to how they are treating people and treating the elderly and disabled. I have a disabled son and have not gotten an eviction yet because I pay my rent on time and have not done anything to warrant it. But playing favorites to others is not okay. I know this for a fact because I spoke to the people they allowed to move out.
This is an incorrect statement. All tenants who have broken a lease and moved out early have forfeited their deposit. If you would like move out prior to the ending of your lease, you are welcome to do so. Your security deposit will be applied per the terms of your contract.

I am rejecting this response because: they also didn't fully enforce the lease when the tenants moved out.
