Review: I was charged $339.00 for an rear upper arm control valve for 2000 [redacted]. Upon research the most expensive one on the market was no more than $150.00. I bought one at [redacted] Autoparts for $64.00. When confronted the owner of the shop could not give any credible explanation for the exhorbitant chargeDesired Settlement: I would like to receive a partial refund of at least $150.00.

May 28, 2014To whom it may concern,The customer brought his car to Springfield Motors on April 3, 2014, and he stated he wanted an alignment done on the car. After diagnosing the car, we verified the car needed an alignment. We also discovered that 2 rear ball joints and the left rear upper control arm needed to be replaced. We explained the diagnosis and gave an estimate for parts and labor to the customer, and he agreed to the repairs. (See attached Repair Order [redacted].) After repairing and test driving the car, we informed the customer that the car was ready to be picked up.The customer picked up the car on April , 2014. The total bill was $1057.67. We gave the customer a discount of $157.67, and as a result, the customer paid $900.00.Also attached is a copy of an invoice quote for the left rear upper control arm part number [redacted].
