Springfield Funeral Home Ltd

My mother recently passed away *** Springfield Funeral home had been recommended to me so I called them and made an appointment with them for when I would be in *** as I do not live there Two different people called me from Springfield after my appointment was made but before I left home and they both asked me to make an appointment I kept telling them I did indeed already have an appointment and mentioned who I had dealt with and that I had based my plane ticket around the initial appointment When I showed up for the appointment on the appointed day and time, they had no idea I was coming! When we did the draft for my mother's obituary, I spelled out the various names that would be mentioned, as well as my mother's name When they emailed me the draft, many names were spelled incorrectly even though I had spelled them to the woman and my mother's middle name was incorrect *** I corrected the errors and emailed the draft back to them The following evening I noticed that Springfield had posted the draft of the obituary with all of the errors in it *** *** I emailed them the following morning and it took them more tries before they got it right! Totally unprofessional *** They should at least have gotten her name right*** *** *** In the least, Springfield should have given me a discount on the invoice for all of the time it took me to correct their mistakes and the extra stress this caused me during this difficult time
