In Aug of last year I purchased a refurbished [redacted] computer from this store I do not live in Philly but have stopped in many times when visiting and aways found them helpful and try to spend my money in independent stores The computer was to be shipped down to Charlotte NC where I keep an office I asked them to ship to a POB as the office is in a residential home that was not occupied at the timeThey said they could not ship to POB I clearly told them the shipment would have to be coordinated a time when I was there and to be picked up at the [redacted] or *** facility if I was not there to accept I gave them a day window in Sept it never shipped then another week in Oct and never got word backRobert G [redacted] was the person who sold me the computer and who was arranging the shipment I never heard anything further from them about it and I was overwhelmed taking care of my fathers estate and kept putting off follow up I contacted them via email in May of this yearGo
The business provided diagnosis of a computer hard drive failure in order to scam the customer of $1,in repair feesThe same computer was later evaluated and repaired by a third party technician, who provided documentation indicating no such hard drive failure existedDiagnostic reports from both technicians are attached In our opinion, such an unreasonably erroneous diagosis, coupled with resulting charges of an extreme amount, constitutes fraud

WE WERE INSTUCTED TO BRING THE COMPUTER FROM THE *** CARE CENTER FOR REPAIR AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF TRYING FIX IT OVER THE PHONE WE BROUGHT THE COMPUTER IN AFTER THREE DAYS I CALL IN TO FIND OUT IF THEY FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM I WAS TOLD TO CALL BACK LATER IN THE DAY THE STORE TOLD ME THEY HAD NOT GOT TO THE COMPUTER YET BUT TO CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY I DID ABOUT 4:PM THE TECH WAS WORKING ON THE COMPUTER HE SAID HE WOULD CALL ME BACK IN MINHE DID I WAS TOLD THE COMPUTER WAS READY AND HE EXPLAIN WHAT HE DID AND THAT THE COMPUTER WAS RUNNING GREAT AND HE PUT OSX NOT BECAUSE THE COMPUTER WAS A OLDER UNIT AND WOULD NOT WORK WELL WITH MY COMPUTER IT WAS LATE IN THE EVEING SO WE DECIDED TO COME THE NEXT DAY ABOUT 11:AM WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE STORE ABOUT MY COMPUTER I WAS TOLD THE COMPUTER HAD A BAD VIDEO CARD I TOLD THE GENTLEMAN SOMETHING MOST BE WRONG OR HE HAD THE WRONG CUSTOMER BECAUSE HE WAS UNAWARE THAT I WAS TOLD IN THE EVEING THAT THE COMPUTER WAS FIX T

I reached out to [redacted] prior to receiving this complaint and we were able to come to a resolution. We have offered him a comparable computer at an discounted price and have transferred his protection plan to the new computer. I am awaiting a response from [redacted] following my conversation with him...
earlier this week and as soon as I have his approval we will ship the computer to an address that he has approved with insured shipping. In my initial conversation with [redacted] I explained that we did ship the original computer but because of the time past [redacted] no longer allows me to view the shipping confirmation (they are removed after 90 days) because of this I was happy to work with him on a solution that would work for him.
