Spring Villas Townhomes

I lived at Spring Villas for 6 months. Upon move in I paid a deposit. When I moved out I was told that within 30 days I would recieve the deposit back. It has been over 47 days and, when you speak with the Manager [redacted] she is LITTLE TO NO HELP. She is rude and makes you feel like a nobody and it's not her problem. She also has issues when it comes to helath and well being of her tenants. I had a serious black wido problem when I lived there and she refused nor believed me that it was an issue. Mind you I had two small children living with me, who could have easily been biten and hurt. I also have a friend who lives in the same complex and the have mold issues and [redacted] refuses to pay for the replacements. She too has a young child in her home. She has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I discourage anyone in Reno/Sparks from living there.Desired SettlementI just want the money owed to me.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], Property ManContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]I am so sorry for the trouble. This resident did not give us a forwarding address at move out. The check was mailed on 11/15/13. We processed the move out and sent the check to the resident's old address on which was all that we had on file at the time. I have requested that a stop payment be placed on the original check cut, and a new check be issued and sent to the new address. I have been working with this resident as per her phone calls to the office. I understand she is frustrated because she has not received this money.We do have black widows occasionally on this property. When we have a pest control problem we fill out a work request and have [redacted] take care of it. There is no reason anybody on our staff would doubt this complaint or not have it taken care of.The friend that [redacted] refers to with a mold issue was inspected immediately. The issue was not mold as documented in our files.Consumer Response After the last response from [redacted] at Spring Villas stated they sent me another check. Which is still not true. I have not gotten a check from this company. And, along with that my friend she stated she would help, had has yet to be contacted. it's all smoke and mirrors and I will be getting in touch with an attorney .Consumer Response The Spring Villas finally mailed the check after almost 5 months of my vacancy. Buyer beware. I am glad to not have to deal with this company any further.
