Adviner is a company that cares more about making money than about their residents They would tell you the rent was one amount and when you went to pay it was magically much moreThis even happened when we first moved it, I was told one amount for the move in fee, then it was magically higherWhen questioned the office lady who had told me the price had been firedSeveral times my packages were given to the wrong peopleThe apartment that I rented was constantly cold and drafty and when asked why I was told that the heater fan wasn't large enough to blow the heat through the whole apartmentI was told to choose what rooms that needed heat and close vents in the other rooms, I had to have a cold living room and bedroom so my kids wouldn't freeze, but even this didn't workI had to risk plugging in a space heater, just so my children could sleep in the freezing cold apartmentThe upgraded cabinets were cheap veneer that was constantly trying to peel, so I would have to glue them downAt the time my lease came up, they called and asked if we were going to renewMy husband and I considered staying in spite of everything, because we didn't have deposit money to moveSo I had them write up another lease, however my husband was laid off and we couldn't afford the extra $a month rent increaseI called the office and explained that we couldn't renewThey informed me that even though our lease was up on August 19th, that we were financially responsible for the property until September 9th, because they require a day noticeThey also told me that after the lease term on the 19th, I would have to pay the month to month rate which was a month! I explained that the reason that we had to leave was because we couldn't afford to stay, but they didn't careI called the corporate office, who also didn't careI was told that I could leave on August 5th and pay the rent until that day, and that I could make payments for the rest I owe until the end of the day noticeI just recieved a statement that I owe them almost $4,Even though the apartment is already rentedI am going to be paying them for a very long time, and I am hoping that this doesn't ruin my family's chance of buying a homeAt the end of the day Adviner only cared about making money and not about the people who call their communities home
