I have used this car wash 3 or 4 times in the last two years. Something always fails. Most recently, I sprayed the car off and the foaming brush did not work then the rinse setting on the sprayer didn't work. I have had it. I couldn't even rinse the soap off the car. Only one time was I able to find a complaint card to fill out but I could not find somewhere to put it when done filling it out. I stuck it back in the holder I pulled it from. There is no email address on the website or a place to leave a message. The phone number ALWAYS says the mailbox is full and will not let you leave a message. I am so tired of places like this offering up terrible goods and services then they are not held accountable when the goods and services fail. They get our money but we didn't get any services and we have nowhere to leave a message that their car wash failed. I have wasted about $15 in this car wash in the last two years due to the car wash equipment or a vacuum not working. It is expensive and uses a lot of quarters and they get the money but we get no product. It's not fair. This last time I was hit for $6 but there is no way for me to contact them and try and get it back. I am fed up and looking for help.
We have been in business for 22 years and have never had a complaint to the Revdex.com. We are PROUD of the way we have treated and responded to our customers needs and/or concerns over those 22 years! We have a clearly marked comment box located on the wall next to our changers for customers to let us know about any problems (as our car wash is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week [which would obviously mean it is impossible to have someone there all of the time]), and respond regularly and include refunds of money lost as long as the customer remembers to include an address or phone number (if there are no comments cards [which is an extreme rarity], comments can be written on anything and placed in the box). We trust our customers and take their word as to give us a truthful and accurate depiction of their experience/issue.
I have attached copies of the letter we include when we send a refund, a copy of the comment cards, and a copy of the sign that is on the comment box. As the letter states, with anything mechanical or computerized, there are sometimes malfunctions of that equipment when no attendant is there. We have attendants there every morning to fix any problems and keep the property clean and work hard to get problems and/or concerns remedied quickly!
We will call this person and attempt to satisfy.
Thanks,
Dave
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I challenge when the box was put up and clearly marked. It is now, I drove by this morning to check. Every time I have had issue at Spray Zone Car Wash I could not find a box or cards. One time I did find one card but the only place I could find to put it was back in the same box where I got it. I left my name, address, cell phone number and maybe my email address on it explaining what happened and nobody contacted me. I drove around the entire building at a snails pace looking for a place to leave a note or some way to contact somebody. There are signs up now but they are brand new and fresh. They are not dirty or sun faded. They look like they were just put up. I then opened the lid to the box and there were five comment cards in there. I did not see where to put the comment cards once you filled them out except back in the same box where everybody has access to them. I know I would be reluctant to leave my contact info if just anybody can take them. To this day, nobody has contacted me nor have I received a refund and when you have to jump through hoops like this to get refunded a few bucks, it's not worth the hassle.
Regards
We mailed out a $20 refund to Mr. last week. I called to make sure he had received the $20 refund and he confirmed that he had.
Thanks,
Dave
