On Nov 20, 2019 a crew of two from Spotless Cleaning came to our home. We had purchased a Groupon and my husband and I were in and out during the 4 hours they were here. They arrived with a half full vacuum canister, which I was assured by *** owner, would be totally cleaned between jobs. I returned from work after they left and took a dozen photos of still-dirty surfaces all over my home. I first waited a couple days to receive a call from the owner. Someone from EVERY other cleaning service we have used through the years has called to check customer satisfaction. When I didn't receive a call, I tried for days to get in touch with Ms. by Facebook, phone and text.
I contacted Groupon on Nov. 25 and received an immediate apology acknowledging our dissatisfaction but being unable to refund my money at that point. They wrote, "We address these kinds of issues with the business directly to ensure they don't happen again." I have no idea whether or not this occurred.
After a week of trying to contact Ms. she finally responded because I had left a negative review on the Spotless Cleaning Facebook page along with the photos (which she promptly removed). She said she'd look into it.
She called me on Dec. 23, 2019 to ask what resolution I wanted. I wanted for either she, herself, to come clean my house OR to be reimbursed for the service I paid for and did not receive. Ms. agreed to refund the money Groupon paid her (which is less than I paid, but that was fine). I gave her until the end of January to not create added stress for her during the Christmas holidays.
On Jan. 9, 2020 I sent a text to remind her of our agreement and she replied, "Yes ma'am." She has never returned my money and has either blocked me or has ignored every attempt I have made to get in touch with her since the Jan 9 text.
*** the owner of Spotless Cleaning, has gone back on her word and should be held accountable. She does not stand behind the service she says she provides.

Refund I want a full refund of $109, which is what I paid for the Groupon. It could have been just the amount she received from Groupon, however that resolution deadline of January 31, 2020 has passed.
On 10/14/2019, the client purchased a cleaning voucher through Groupon from my company. On the scheduled day of cleaning 2 employees arrived and were given a tour of the home. After showing us the lay of the house, the client informed me that she would be out running errands while the cleaning was done. She assured me that she would return upon completion to inspect at my request. Once we began working it was obvious that she hadn't purchased enough time to have the 4,000+ square footage home cleaned. She purchased a 4 man hour voucher not to be confused with a 4 hour voucher. Four man hours equates too: 2 employees rendering services for 2 hours each. We decided to gift her the additional 2 hours a piece which means she was given 8 man hours, when she only purchased 4 man hours. She was given more than she paid for. Towards the end of our session she returned home and inspected and was thrilled with our services. She gave each employee a $20 tip and thanked us for our services. A few days later, I came across her shocking review on our business page saying the service was horrible and that she had tried to contact us. We have no missed communications with the client. We are deeply saddened to know that your experience with us was unpleasant, we
Strive to leave every customer satisfied.

I did NOT ask for my entire 4,000 sq ft home to be cleaned - only the first floor as much as they could get to, and NOT my husband's office at all, which is where I found the head cleaner when I got home. I clearly gave her my priorities on her arrival. As far as her "assistant," she was on her phone the two times I came home and was on the phone when my husband checked in. Another time he entered, they were shouting back and forth to each other "having a good old time" as he put it. It did not bother me if they were working and enjoying themselves. Normally I would bring up all the time the one woman spent on the phone, but I did realize they were staying longer than I expected, which was NOT at my request, and part of the reason for the tip was because of that. Yes, I gave them a tip because, after all, Thanksgiving was in a couple days with Christmas close behind. I work at *** Assistance *** a non-profit agency that provides emergency financial assistance to folks facing eviction or utility cut-off. Many of our clients work hard at cleaning jobs and do not bring home enough to cover their bills much of the time. THAT is the main reason I tipped them. The head cleaner told me what she did, ie. "I moved everything on the shelves and dusted, cleaned the ceiling fans and got the dirt under the edges of the rugs. I'm about to get to the floor." I said, "Wow - It sounds like you give a lot of attention to detail" and she replied, "yes ma'am!" It was my bad to trust that she had done what she said and not look closely. I was in a rush to pick up grandchildren from 3 schools and they'd been there for HOURS - how could the bottom floor not be clean yet??? Yes, I trusted her.
Well, it wasn't clean at all and I can show you the dozen pictures I took that evening. I wish so much that I'd had a "nanny cam" to record what was going on.
In any case, the owner *** saw some of the photos and asked what she could do to resolve the issue. SHE AGREED TO REIMBURSE ME for the service I did NOT receive. This is a VERBAL AGREEMENT, is it not?
The ONLY other resolution I will accept in lieu of reimbursing the money I spent on this worthless Groupon is for her to personally supervise a 4-hour cleaning of the first floor of my home.
In no service industry is lack of honesty or accountability acceptable! This owner has lied about her promise to refund my money and should in no way be permitted to continue running a business that does NOT provide the quality of cleaning it advertises. I am asking the Revdex.com to hold this woman accountable or to shut her down.
We are regretful that we are not able to appease you. We will return your payment.

The business' proposed resolution is the same that was promised to me back in December and remains a satisfactory resolution now. I expect the refund within the week.
