After a month and a half of membership, we notified the staff that we would like to cancel, as we did not enjoy our experience at Sports Village and would not/did not visit againThe staff "froze" our account and now insists on billing us for an entire year, plus an account "freeze" (a *grand [redacted] total of $for days)The manager saw nothing wrong with thisShe decided it is fair to charge us that absurd amount for a place that we visited 15ish times and notified them that we would not be returning, displaying the classic "you signed the contract" attitudeHowever, the manager did at least give us a free entry level lecture on business overhead costs when asked if she really thought that was the right thing to doIf you've ever received a speeding ticket for going 36mph in a 35mph zone, you know how we feelTechnically speeding?
