My name Is BrittanyI am the manager of SportClips In North GreenbushI apologize for thedelayed response; I have been out sick with a severe Illness the last week and East Greenbush policedelayed giving us a copy of the police report.I am responding to the BBS letter we receivedOn 1/18/we
had a hostile customer enterour location*** walked In and was looking to return a product(Gibs beard oil) *** did notpurchase this product but had a receiptWe have a sign posted In the front check out area stating allproduct sales are finalWe do this for our client's safety as we cannot sell a used returned productEmilySportClips asst manager explained the policyThe woman became upset, screaming and hystericalEmilysaid "My manager Is In the middle of a haircut but If you have a seat she will be with you and will seewhat can be done" (for example keep the product and we will have a credit you can use for a free haircutor let me call the franchise owner) *** stepped out onto the cutting floor and started gettingincredibly close and was In my face screamingThe client In my chair receiving a haircut, Ron actuallystood up and asked the woman to have a seat In the waiting room or come back when she calms downbecause he feared for my safetyThe woman was asking for the owner's number which I would not giveher as it Is company policyShe left and said she would come back laterThis was approximately 11:30-12:30After the woman left and I finished the haircut, we called the owner to explain what happened.Paul the owner said when she comes back reaffirm the policy and If there Is any issue call him.She walked In about an hour after storming outShe came back In hostile, rude and aggressive.We explained the policy and pointed out where It was statedShe asked to speak to the ownerWe calledand she was screaming at himShe put her finger In Emily's face and said she gave her a "*** uphaircut" all while on the phone with PaulPaul hung up and as the woman continued her aggression, shewas told to leave by myselfShe refusedI called the policeThe woman started walking towards thedoorMichelle another employee who was working held open the doorThe woman aggressively put herhands on MichelleThe woman left and the police cameWe put In a report and a restraining order tokeep her out of SportClipsWe told the police that we would Issue a refund because this became so farout of handThe officer called her and said she could never step into sportcllps but someone else couldcome In and pick up her refund'As for her desired settlementALL LICENSES are hung with photos at each station as well as thebusiness license located In the reception areaALL of our franchise SportClips PASSED with flying colorsour state InspectionsWe have her refund waiting for her but we will not pay for an travel timeThis wasblown out of proportionI have attached the police report as well as pictures of our refund sign andlicenses.As of 2/no one has come In for the refundWe did all we could to make this rightThis was abeyond scary situation that no one deserves to be InThis should not count negatively against us due toall Information provided and the police report
