Sports at the Beach

Review: My travel team along with 71 other teams entered a tournament run by Sports at the Beach....

Entry fee was $1150 per team...=$82800 was collected in advance for a tournament that we were guaranteed 5 games.

Every team played 2 games on Friday in a light drizzle and then no other games were allowed to be played the next 2 days. They cancelled both days citing Weather. The problem was there was barely any rain, the fields were in good enough condition to play, and they made zero attempt to get any of the fields ready. Their refund policy is if you play 2 games you receive no refund, so after all the teams played two games, there was no attempt to play any more games. I was at the field Saturday afternoon(4pm), the fields were dry, and not a single employee was on the grounds of a 16 field complex. There are lights at the complex and games could have been played late into the evening. Understand that teams come from all over to play and no attempt was made to get games in. It, in effect, was stealing.Desired Settlement: All teams should be issued a refund since no attempt was made to play the agreed upon 5 game minimum.
