When we were scheduled to install carpeting in the living room and hall on 2/*/2017, it was determined as we were laying the carpet, that we would be short carpet for the closet.  Since this installation was in Wading River, we needed to determine the availability of additional carpet from the...

same dye lot, and also determine scheduling for a return to that area.We coordinated with the customer to return on 2/**/2017 to complete the closet.  I would challenge the assertion that "we could care less" about the situation.  Nothing could be farther from the truth. We did return on 2/**/2017, and fully completed the job, and were then paid by the customer the full balance for the job in the amount of $754.55.Our records show that the appointment for returning to complete the job was made with the customer on Monday or Tuesday 2/** or 2/[redacted]  While we regret that the "short situation" ever happened, Carpet Depot Inc. stands behind all of our work and would never simply be cavalier to a customer.  As I understand the situation and as evidenced from the return trip, I believe the situation was completely rectified, and the customer is satisfied with our work.

charge if cancelled and a measure was accomplished.  In this case the measure was performed.  That said, and in the interest of providing an accommodation to this customer a refund was indeed sent in the amount of $45.00 on December [redacted].  By now the customer should have received that refund.  That refund coupled with his prior refund of $455.00 provides for a total refund in the amount of his original deposit of $500.00.
