Spokane Estate sales, is a rip off. pocket the money, no receipt. Inventory list does not list all the items that were sold. They never return your phone calls. Do not hire this bunch. They will rip you off and make a mess, bu burning some things that do not sell. BEWARE!
Review: Spokane-Estate-Sales performed an Estate Sale for me after my mother passed away. Everything went fine with that. There were quite a few Alaskan specialty items as well as some other items that we agreed would be taken to a retail store that they have and sold on Consignment. I was notified that some of the items had sold, but that they were in the process of moving the store to a new location, and that they would get in touch with me and settle up. I have not heard from them and have tried repeatedly to contact by phone as well as email in order to set up settlement and to retrieve the items that had not sold.Desired Settlement: I want an account of all items listed-whether or not the item sold. Payment for sold items and the return or payment for the unsold items.
These people held an estate sale for my family and pocketed the money! They won't return our calls or emails and the police are investigating what looks like a pair of evil scam artists. Based on the other complaints here they have been doing this to multiple families. BEWARE of these people. They prey on the weak and elderly. They stole everything from us just in time for Christmas.
This business is totally unreliable. I met with the owner of this company, ¦[redacted], on September 12 to arrange a sale on October 18 and 19. He accepted the job, and for the next several weeks I tore my house apart to get ready for the sale. He told me to read through the contract, and he'd get it from me when we met on Oct. 8th. I never heard from him again, he never returned any of my phone calls or emails, and when I finally tracked him down on at one of his sales on Oct.10th, he pretended that he didn't see me, tried to ignore me, gave a performance that his back hurt, and then, after waiting for an hour for his attention, I finally asked him if he was doing my sale the following weekend and he just said, "NO". If he didn't want the job, or changed his mind, he should have let me know before I wasted a month and turned my house upside down, It was a cowardly act. [redacted] can not be trusted. Find someone you can count on.
