Review: We had a contract with Spirit General contracting that clearly stated they were to remove the mold, patch the concrete and dry lock the entire basement and it was not done correctly. We spoke to [redacted], the contractor after inspecting his work in the basement and told him that it was not done correctly or completely and it needed to be fixed which he then agreed to do. When we to check on his work the second time, it still was not done crrectly or completely. When I spoke to him about this the second time, he told me he did the job and it was done. We then had to complete the project on our own time and use our own funds to buy all the materials needed to do this. In cleaning up the side of the house the next day, I saw milky white liquid that was poured down the outside drain by contractor. He left the bucket of dry lock and his brushes just laying on the side of the house and I had to clean it all up and dispose of it.Also in our contract, a new dryer vent was to be installed leading to the outside of the home nad when checking that, it was pushed in but never screwed in properly.Desired Settlement: We want a refund af $1400.00 for the jobs that were not completely and the time and money we had to spend of our own.
Review: Hired contractor to remodel elderly parents bathroom. Contractor breached contract, did not complete project and caused property damage. Work that he did complete has to be completely ripped down and started over because it is dangerous and not done correctly or even acceptable. Bathroom has been out of commission since March 10th and now parents have no functional bathroom.Desired Settlement: Would like a full refund of contract price and to pay for damages to property caused by his work.
Review: I hired [redacted] from Spirit General Contracting. We had a contract on replacing my front steps. The work has been done incorrectly and out of the building codes. The steps are hazardous and are a liability. When I brought this to [redacted] attention, multiple times, he agreed he would replace them again. [redacted] has never come back to replace the steps.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. So I can hire another contractor, to replace the steps and bring them to code.
