In response to complain ID#[redacted]The customer placed his order, at 133am on 3/14/15. He was quoted 1 hour for delivery. The order showed up at his hotel room at 228am on3/14/15. The customer argued the order was late and wanted to cancel. We time stamp our...
orders when they are received and when the orders are delivered as a method of quality control. The customer receivedhis order with in the original time quoted. Therefore our policy dictates the customer is responsible for the cost of the order. The customer called our Restaurant and talked to a manager who politely explained our policy. At which time the customer became verbally abusive and hung up. He continually called the establishment over and over demanding his money back. During the course of those calls atno point did he speak to the owner of the business nor did anyone use any obscenities towards this customer. The owner was not on site this night. I am really appalled of the accusation by the customer that the wait time was two hours and that a staff member let alone the owner would respond with an obscenity like that. The customer filed acharge-back for this bill, which we didn't fight. As a small business wecannot absorb the cost for a customer who changes their mind after getting what they ordered in the timeframe promised. However we decided not to fight the chargeback and returned the money to Cody.
