SPI Appraisal Services

Hello -
this appraiser accepted an order to complete an appraisal, was paid for a rush and the appraisal was due on December 16th the buyers of a home needed to close by the 31st of the year in order to save $5,on the price of the home plenty of time and with time to spare to complete the process
the appraiser was very non-communicative during the initial stages, but we were assured all would be OK Appraiser looked at the property on the December 8th and we were on track to get it on the 16th w kept asking for updates and after or requests, finally we were told that the appraiser needed additional comparables from the builders sales office the appraiser stated that he left a message for the sales office to call him backthe sales office confirmed via caller ID and their voicemails that no such calls or voicemail was received the appraiser lied about this on the same day (the 15th), other comparables were emailed and voicemailed to the appraiser Appraiser stated that he could not get out and look at the other comparables as we had 2-inches of snow (I drove miles down to Golden Colorado that day, where they had inches of snow and it was not that bad) Finally on Friday the 18th, the appraiser went and took pictures of the comparables several phone calls, text messages, emails have been sent to the appraiser since th 17th - we have not had a single response from the appraiser in almost a week, nd this report is already a week late the buyers will lose their $5,
All we ask for is communication - let us know what is going on
I can go on and on - but these are just the facts
this guy is unprofessional and does not care about his clients Do not use him ever!!!!!
