I ordered glasses and entered my prescription, filling in all the empty blanks. When I received them, the reading and mid-distance prescriptions were set at the very bottom of the lenses; in order to see the computer screen I had to tip my head way, way back. I stopped by the Walmart Vision Center for advice, and the lady measured the glasses and said I should contact them and say the "seg height" should be 26. (I had never heard of "seg height" before. There was no blank in the online form to enter it.) But I phoned Speert and they said they wouldn't do anything. They said it was my fault that the prescription didn't list the "seg height." Sorry I spent $250 on glasses I can't use.
Their customer service is horrible. The product I received was the wrong size; there was only 1 size offered, so I let them by email know that it was misrepresented on their web site. 24 hours later I had no reply. I tried the online live chat and found that was only a help to navigate the site.
I tried to call and no one answered the phone; you had to leave a message. I sent them a second email which was answered in an hour.
The response was very abrupt...I was told I was correct and the info was corrected on the site.
Their policy is that with returns the postage is paid by the customer PLUS A 15% RESTOCKING FEE.
They did not apologize for their error or my inconvenience, and made no offer to waive those fees.
I got no reply when I mentioned my disappointment at their lack of response.
I opted to keep the product, but also resolved to never do business with them again, and told them so...as well as receiving negative reviews.
This complaint is inaccurate and I will provide all messages from the customer to who ever needs to see them. Customer wanted to take the installed radio out of vehicle and I did not have time during the day and he texted me saying don't worry about it. He removed it himself. His warranty was on all...
labor which nothing was addressed or brought back to my shop when I offered to take care of any services he may have had an issue with. Nothing was damaged in the vehicle and all work was properly fused and installed with professional talent. No further action is required. He failed to bring the vehicle back to me for anything to be looked at and also by removing his radio voided my work that I did to the vehicle. As for the remote start he called me and said that the dealer did not program the chip for his anti theft security unit when he purchased keys prior to remote start installation. Again he told me he took care of it and here was noi issue and he was satisfied and returned for more work.
