This customer is due a resolution and we regret not being able to resolve it in a more timely manner. Part of the delay was due to this being a labor only job where our men loaded a U-Haul truck and the customer relocated out of town and we did not receive their new contact address or information...

right away. We did acknowledge the damage at the time of the job and made a good faith effort to offer compensation but needed the customer's help in obtaining quotes. Our actual reimbursement liability is governed by the state of Washington's Utilities & Transportation Commission which dictates damage reimbursement at $0.60/lb per article. However, we always try to go above and beyond in the spirit of customer service, where possible. The customer's only quote is inflated and we are in the process of verifying the parts costs and will try to settle with the customer as soon as possible when complete. Our leg work so far has revealed that the parts are easily half the cost of the customer's initial quote. We appreciate the business and will do everything we can to resolve the matter to the customer's satisfaction.
