Hello , This is Austin responding on behalf of Speedway Motors LLC in regards to [redacted]. We explained to her from the beginning BMW's are high maintenance vehicles. As she has stated, I was operating the vehicle prior to the sale with no issues. They test drove the vehicle as well as...

had a mechanically inclined family member come to inspect the vehicle before purchase (which we always encouraged), the customer also signed a form stating that they had a right to an inspection before purchase. With all that being stated the vehicle was sold as-is and she signed 3 forms stating that very clearly. In regards to the stament that we have sold her a "lemon" that law only applies to new vehicles. We know used car dealers have very bad reputations so we always do our best to go above and beyond even after the sale which is why we offered to look at the vehicle when she began having issues. She had someone diagnose it down to a radiator leak, after our mechanic inspected it, he came to the same conclusion. As far as us not "wanting them waiting around" we do not allow customers in our shop area as a safety precaution and we do not have a customer waiting area. We were also working on another vehicle at that time and could not stop immediately to inspect Mrs [redacted]'s vehicle. Being respectful of her time we recommended her to just drop the vehicle off and I would call her when my mechanic was able to get to her vehicle. The leaking hose and radiator were replaced for a total of $280 parts and labor which is extremely reasonable considering the fact it is a BMW. She would have paid more for just the parts alone if she had visited the local BMW franchise. After the repair was made she had a mechanic call me a few days later stating that the new radiator had a leak. He said she was a good friend of his and he was trying to assist in resolving the situation. I provided him our warranty number and I am under the impression he was able to exchange the part at no additional cost. Mrs [redacted] did call me extremely angry making demands and when she began making threats about reporting us I immediately ceased communication with her based upon previous advice from our attorney.  Hopefully this offers further clarification and resolution for all parties involved. Have a great day,[redacted] Speedway Motors LLC
