What Spee Dee Delivery needs this consignee to do is contact the shipper and have them contact us with the tracking number so we will be able to track this package...since the consignee is stating non delivery of this item that would between
the shipper and the consignee at this point
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/28) */

I have a minimum of emails and a documented phone call (date & Time) proving the seller/shipper, The parts Place, has in fact been contacted by me and they have contacted Spee-Dee DeliveryI now have in my possession a copy of the electronic signature for the said delivery and it is a forgery and can be easily provenA simple comparison of my signature and the one that is on their electronic apparatus are completely differentI can provide my signature at any time and with as many signed documents as requested for comparingI hope the Revdex.com would ask for that evidence as that would clear up many thingsAfter speaking with Devin on 10-28-he has verified (what Josslynn his customer rep also said)that the driver did in fact get someone, anyone, a live person to sign my nameFor a driver to randomly seek out or select a person from the neighborhood or elsewhere, just any person and have them sign for a $package cannot be ethical or responsibileI can provide proof that I was at work at the time the driver found a warm bodied person to sign for my $packageI have an email dated 10-28-from the shipper saying that I must contact Spee-Dee Delivery to resolve thisThat email and others are available for your viewing pleasure at anytimeI do not feel that myself or my insurance company is at fault or responsibile for their driver authorizing another person, my neighbor or anyone else to sign for my $packageShould you feel the need, and I encourage you, to contact the owner of The PArts Place, I can give you that informationBy speaking to him directly (no third party)you can decide for yourself if I have complied with Spee-Dees' request/requirement to contact the shipper and resolve this matterHe can provide you with a lot of details and his involvement as wellYou should be extremely interested in the details of the phone call he made to Spee-DeePlease review all the evidence that is available to the Revdex.comAny evidence you need from me just ask I will provide that to youThank you for your help in this matter

We have his signed signature on the door tag we left stating he wanted the package left...a copy has been sent to the shipperSigning the door tag releases Spee Dee Delivery and the shipper from any liability after this package was left
I am rejecting this response because:After 5+ correspondences' over four weeks time and no resolve, we're not interested in the 'damage or loss claim form' nor using additional resources to fill out the form, mail back at our cost and follow up further. If this indeed is their process, it should have been provided prior to a complaint to the Revdex.com - and WELL before the amount and time of correspondence we have spent chasing down an answer and accountability. In addition, given the amount of time and effort following up on this claim without attention until we filed the Revdex.com claim, $listed on their guidelines for filing a claim is laughable. Said differently, we'll await an amount that recognizes the time, effort and repeated follow up required to get the Spee-Dee folks to take our lost package and claim seriously - and also ask they recognize their apparent practice of 'they'll go away if we make them jump through enough hoops' should be revisited (particularly on behalf of individuals and businesses who won't take the time to hold them accountable to questionable business practices)
We only can deal with the shipper when the item has been damaged. This customer needs to contact the shipper and contact our claims department.
I am not aware of this issue...and no tracking numbers provided to determined who the shipper is and the consignee is...please call us at ###-###-#### Ext [redacted] and ask for Joe in claims. Not enough information given to help with this issue...please call.

upon inspection of this window which weighs 109lbs and oversized, we are not able to claim due to poor packaging as the window was wrapped in a sheet of cardboard.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/18) */

The Windows were packed with styrofoam peanuts. This is the same way I have packed them the last 4 times I have used spee Dee to ship our windows without a problem.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/19) */
With the inspection of the window and the improper packaging...cardboard, to protect the window we are not able to claim the item.

Drivers make three attempts to deliver....as of Friday this was not attempted and should be out with the driver today 9-8-15. I am not sure why we would just hang up on anyone unless we are being verbally assaulted.

BOL pro number [redacted] states that the declared value is $200.00. $100.00 per pallet. We did honor the claim and paid him the $200.00. [redacted] did sign the BOL that has the declared value of $200.00 and no additional insurance on the...
product. Spee Dee would not be able to pay more than the $200.00.
[redacted] delivery was an accepted claim and paperwork was sent.....but it looks like in our records it was not returned back...Spee Dee claims department will resend this form today 4-28-17.... As for the damaged items from North American Art....claims issues are only with the shipper....
Spee Dee would need [redacted] to contact us about the loss.
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/10) */
[redacted] is out of our service area and the customer came to our shop in Bismarck to pick up on 11-9-15. The package should have been returned but in North Dakota with the big oil boom and the delays in freight because of it...it is common...
for people to address packages out of our service area and we will pick up directly from the branch. I would need the shipper to contact us with any refunds.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If [redacted] was out of their service area for delivery, Spee-Dee Delivery should have never accepted the package for delivery. The oil boom in ND is slowing down and is more in the western part of ND. We did not know that there was a package for us until Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015. It was an overnight delivery and arrived in Bismarck on 11-4-15 and we were never notified that there was a package there for us, thus being said and the statement from us initially, I was assured by the Rep. I spoke to several times at their Corporate Office in MN. that the package was going to be delivered to my house on Monday 11-9-15. After I called Corporate Office again at 4 PM on Monday 11-9-15, the Rep. assured me it would be there and that the drivers have until 5:00 - 5:30 PM for delivery, and that she spoke with the driver herself. When 6:00 PM came and still no package, I spoke with my son and he went to Spee-Dee Delivery in Bismarck on 11-9-15 (that's 5 days after the package was to be delivered to us) to see if the package was there, the package was there and was in the pile marked for return to sender. Please keep in mind that we had no knowledge that Spee-Dee did not deliver to [redacted] anymore, as I know that they have in the past because we have received some packages through Spee Dee Delivery in past years.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2015/11/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I understand that Spee Dee does not deliver to this area of ND, so if Spee Dee does not deliver to the address that was on the package, why did that specific Spee Dee delivery office in Wisconsin accept the package from the shipper and ship it anyways? Yes, I did have our son pick up the package in Bismarck, ND on 11-9-15 (please keep in mind it was a paid overnight delivery and had arrived in Bismarck, ND on 11-4-15 and we were not notified), the package was paid for an overnight delivery price, arrived in Bismarck, ND on 11-4-15 and sat in the Bismarck, ND office until I made a phone call on 11-7-15 to Spee Dee Corporate Office in MN only to be closed until Monday. So, on Monday 11-9-15, numerous phone calls were made only to be assured that it would arrive at my door. When 5 pm came on Monday 11-9-15 and no package, enough was enough, we had our son pick up the package before that HUB closed!! Spee Dee in that Wisconsin office should have never accepted the package and being that they did, when it arrived in Bismarck, ND some contact should have been made to the shipper as to notify us about this! The item in the package was rotten/destroyed!! If Spee Dee would have made any attempt to let the shipper know it could not be delivered any farther the shipper would have left us know and we would have driven the 55 miles to pick up the package on 11-4-15 or even on 11-5-15.
Final Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/11/24) */
The address the shipper sent to is out of our service area...Spee Dee does not deliver to that area of North Dakota and that information can be found on our web site and all shippers would have a delivery area map. I would not be able to compensate for the delivery or the item. The customer has picked up the package back on 11-9-15.
