First of all this table was refunded in full and picked up prior the Revdex.com even reviewing this caseSince this complaint is filled
with nothing but inaccuracies and outright lies I am forced to take the time to respond
MrKesheshian contacted Spectrum Surgical Solutions via dotmed, which is the worlds largest marketplace for used and refurbished medical equipmentSpectrum Surgical Solutions has conducted thousands of transactions via this websiteWe are also certified dealers with a 100% feedback rating, and ranked in their top dealersThese statements can be easily verified
Mr Kesheshian stated which table he was interested in, we didn't tell him which one to buyHis main concern was priceAs far as his claim that the table is "obsolete", he was told by the manufacturer that they no longer support it with parts or serviceSince parts and service are available through other channels, this bed can be repaired and refurbished, thus not obsoletePerhaps he should be asked why he didn't purchase one that is still supported by the manufacturerThe simple answer would be he cant afford one
There are thousands of smaller hospitals and other facilities that use equipment that is no longer supported by the manufacturer, but still perfectly adequate for useHundred of this specific table are sold every year, dozens by Spectrum Surgical SolutionsThere are thousands in use everyday and pass the annual inspections and function exactly as specified
The fact of the matter is thisThe table was fully inspected prior to leaving our warehousePerhaps something occurred in shippingPerhaps the customer damaged it when removing it from the pallet, after he admittedly left it outside overnightWhatever may have happened, when we were informed of the leak and I immediately made arrangements to fly down and assess the situationAs far as not having new batteries, he didn't want to pay for any type of refurbishing or reconditioning
The reason we didn't send down one of our techs is because this doctor had already shown himself to be a bully and I wont have my employees subjected to that type of treatment
When I arrived I dismantled the table, a type of which I have repaired and refurbished on numerous occasions and with which I have extensive experienceSince there are literally dozens of places that a leak could occur, I cleaned out the table and checked and tightened the more obvious sites where leaks occurI also replace a clamp on one of the reservoir hoses which seemed looseSince I was coming back the next day anyway, I decided to let it sit overnight and see if the problem had been solvedIt was still leaking the next day in a spot which cannot be located unless you take out the entire pump, which you would obviously do after other, less intensive areas were checked firstI called my tech, who has 20+ years on these beds, and he told me what he would do, which was not "glue" as stated by the customerAfter I performed the repair and installed the new batteries,(which are quite expensive and we provided to make up for his inconvenience), I informed Mr*** that we will guarantee the repair
Two days later he called saying that the table was leaking againI said fine we will have it picked upHe thought about that and decided if we had a newer version of the SAME table he would be interested in thatHe was informed that those tables are more money, the amount of which was less than we usually charge, but once again we were trying to compensate him for his inconvenienceHe then stated that he wanted it refurbished as well and he would pay us half of the additional amount
At no point was he given any ultimatum or extorted and additional moneyWe would have been more than happy to take the table back and refund this nuisance his money
*** I think that a very important point here is that when we received the table back there was absolutely NO LEAK and that the repair was working as expected! The table is here and can readily be inspectedIt seems very obvious that Mr*** just wanted a newer, refurbished table at the same price and when told that was not going to happed, filed this bogus and frivolous claim
I would also like to state that at no time was there any danger to a patientIn fact, the surgical lights were not even installed yet in the tiny dimly lit roomStranger still, the surgical lights that he did have waiting to be installed are also, as he would call it, "obsolete"
In short, the customers equipment was repaired in a very timely fashion, he then decided to use deception of further problems to get upgraded for nothingThe Revdex.com should have been informed by the claimant that he was refunded in fullI would also be nice that after the refund he would have returned all the parts to the table that he receivedI believe it just goes to show what type of person we are dealing with
