I am rejecting this response because:I don't contact the Revdex.com to try to get something for nothing, the pictures tell the story.I have never been nor have I had to sign non-slander suitBased on the pictures I am attaching, you can see from the damage that was caused and the lack of professionalism on this job that the owner is not telling the truth.I was asked by James S*** to take down the complaint because the owner had threatened himMrS*** informed me that while my job would be complete he still needed to work and that this would make it difficult on him. The owner claims that he was hired to paint the textured walls in our houseThe job was to paint the interiorIt was not specific to just the textured wallsThis was to paint the entire interiorIt was understood that all the whole household interior including the living room, family room, hallways, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, pantry, laundry room and closets, all walls, were to be painted. When we arrived after they painted we walked into a messThe kitchen was not paintedA paint can we had opened on the floor was knocked over and the paint was spilled onto the rug, it splashed onto the loveseat sofa we had in the living room along with the wall they just paintedThey attempted to clean up the paint, but no one called to let us know this happened. We also noticed that the kitchen, closets, laundry room and the main bathroom was not painted. We were really upset when we found that every piece of trim in our house along with the cabinet had been damagedInstead of improving our house they damaged itWe found half drank tea bottles on the back of the loveseat, water bottles in the living room by the wood stoveWe also noticed that they did not clean the window seals before they painted. The owner refused to come out for touch-ups in fact the general contractor James Sharp personally came out and did the touch ups along with the flooring guyThe flooring guy was shocked at the paint job and was willing to help us get things fixed. The owner stated that he prides himself "to never leave anything, not even a small piece of tape left on the job when we are finished." When we were putting on the light switch covers that they did not put back we found masking tape and over-spray on every one of them.If the owner "always tape off fixtures and everything else that doesn't need painted" then why is the chain to the front door no longer brass it is not the same color as the wallsI am attaching pictures of the over-spray on the floor registersThese should have been removed before they put down the visquine. The owner did call me back, but he was the one that would not let me get in a word and was rude and cursing Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Sincerely,

Hello my name is Todd W***, owner of Spectrum Painting, and I would like to respond to theaccusations and untruths told by Ms***I apologize to not responding sooner as I have justgot back into the stateI was hired by James S*** who owns Sound Home Repair to repaint allof the textured
surfaces including the master bath which had wallpaper of the said home for$I am not sure where the $comes from that she is requesting, possibly that iswhat she was going to pay the general contractorWhile painting I had the extra time in thebudget so I called James and said I could include the master closet and laundry room in theoriginal price, he said go aheadThe contractor asked how much extra it would be to paint theremaining closets, kitchen and one bathroomI told him it would require one more trip outand an additional $Upon unmasking the paper covered trim, a portion of it lifted offIcame back to meet with the contractor and he told me to paint it all the same colorI thenprepped ie: sanded, caulked, puttied & top coatedI also, as a show of good faith painted theremaining closets, kitchen and bathroom at no costI never once heard or was asked to replacethe trimKeep in mind this was an early 90's model mobile home with paper trim.I never refused to come out for touch-ups in fact I personally came out and did the touch upsmyselfIt was mentioned my company left garbage all over the place, ironically I pride myselfto never leave anything, not even a small piece of tape left on the job when we are finished.Twenty-four years of doing this it has always been the same.It was mentioned that we didn't tape off fixtures, obviously we always tape off fixtures andeverything else that doesn't need paintedIt was also mentioned that there was overspray onthe floors and texture overspray on the alarm systemWe always mask, drop, visquine all areasnot to be painted for protectionAs far as breaking the alarm, I was told by the contractor thatthe carpet installer cut the wires due to the alarm going offI had the code, and I would noteven know where to look for such wires. When Ms*** called she left a voicemail, so I called her backShe asked if I was the owner, Isaid yes, how can I help? She told me I ruined her home, said my work was s#@* and startedyelling and cussing at me and was being unreasonableShe would not let me talk so I told her Iwas hanging upIn my opinion, Ms*** is on the verge of defamation and I was told throughher previous employer she had to sign a non-slander suit, I have the name of the contractor anddates however there is no need to bring them into this.I started my company in and have an impeccable reputation which I have worked veryhard to achieveTwo of my employees have been with me & years, in fact your companythe Revdex.com has me rated at A+Seldom do I take on new work as I have a large repeat baseIwork for many professionals, cities and contractors that build high end homes, all who wouldbe happy to give my company an excellent recommendationI have never had a client talk tome or lie like thatIf there are any issues, which in that many years of business is bound tohappen, I go above and beyond to take care of themHence that is why 90% of my clientele isrepeat business.Sincerely,Todd W***Spectrum Painting-Owner
